Default 2006 type s .... low 14's requirements??

Hey guys i recently purchased a 06 type s vivid blue..
i love it..i guess hard work pays off ... anyways

i know the acura can pull off a 14.8 14.9 stock
but i would like to make it low 14's mabye even high high 13's
but i don't want to have to go into k-pro or reflash simply because of dealer warantee, now i have done some research on club rsx for some performance parts.
and i want the injen air intake with the hydroshield, and a race header also,
also is their a adapter u need to connect the race header to the stock exhaust? the race header will eliminate the cat but when its time for emisson i can always switch back for the day.. now i know in 05 they gave the rsx better exhaust
is it worth buying a exhaust for the car or will a intake and race header be enough?
i like the stock tip and don't want to change it... anyways what can i do here to make this car run a 14.2 14.3 all day long at least. im am asking from personal experience or someone whos really knows..
thanks guys

the muffler piping is still a bottleneck.

installing any non oem product will void the warranty. there is a clause that states that if you change the suspension, they cant say that that caused your oil pump to fail. i forgot the name of the clause.

Bolt-ons (I/H/E) and ecu reflash will get you there. Nice tires, short shifter, and practice will get you there.

intake, header, exhaust, esmm, with tires can get u into 13.9-14.0 KPRO will get u in mid 13's, N20 can get u into mid 13's, anything after that you have to start spending money. I ran AEM sri, JRRH, Thermal Catback, and a 50shot to 13.5 @104 with tires

i guess comptech stuff doesnt void your warrenty since u can get it straight from the dealer, so look into that stuff and u said sumtin about the look of the pipe, the comptech exhaust is pretty much the exact same tip with bigger piping, so go for that if u r worried about warrenty

comptech parts are not warrantied by all acura dealers, only some. it is up to their discretion

i talked to the service manager at the acura dealer i bought my car and i mentioned the comptech systems to him,,, and he got like excited he told me that they install the comptech superchargers alot ont he rsx's and the nsx's and he was like they are very good systems for the cars he kept saying there awesome and stuff.. then he told me that just by them installing the supercharger on the car won't void the warrantee right off the bat but he did say that if something goes wrong with the car and it is caused by the supercharger they wont cover it... but he told me to do a comptech exhaust for the car and a cold air intake so thats what i think im gonna do
can anyone reccommend a good intake for the car
how is the k & n intake ram air system for it
he said by installing the two gves the car about 16-18 rwhp and it satisfy's alot of customers (meaning it opens the car up alot)
but anyways anyone reccommend any intakes
and has anyone heard good things about comptech exhaust?

LOL expletive the dealership. They charge way too much to install it. I like how he said it wont void the warranty but they wont cover it and then recommended you add mods which would void your warranty...haha.

If you want the best gains go with a cold air intake.
