I have the above mentioned shocks here is the question. The adjuster turns freely and even can be pulled out but does not change the setting. They are supposed to be 15way adjustable and one of them has malfunctioned. Does anyone know of this type of problem? can it be fixed ?are they rebuildable? This is refering to the drivers side shock. Pass side works like new. The shocks are 8months old. I put the allen wrench in to adjust it and it was frozen, so I tried a little force and it came free but now spins freely......any help would be great.

 

look at the adjustment screw,, you can see that there are indentation on the bottom to completly remove it. get a small wrench, loosen it and remove the entire adjustment screw, then go buy a new one, and put it back on. done.

 

It appears to have broken off clean just below the area where a snap clip looks to have been.
