hey guys wats up? listen i know its not just my car b/c ive smelled it in others but what causes that rotten smell when ur driving . doesent happen often im just curious cuz i always blame my friends but its not them. And if i can fix it how? i dont wanna take mah girl out and she think im fartin in the car lol thatnx guys

 

that sulfur smell is usually caused by a bad cat or running to rich..or both..

 

is it always there or only when you turn the a/c on or just the air. if its always there take the time to clean all the alpostre.

 

do you have a PCV breather filter on the valve cover?? I had that problem on my car.....basically the breather pukes out stinky **** and as air blows through your engine bay, it takes that smell into your vents and into the cab....

 

Sulfur smell can also be attributed to a battery that is dying. Check for any acid leaks on/around your battery, it might be time for a new one.

if it can be caused by the cat being clogged up maybe theres my prob cuz i feel like i been loosiin a lot of power latley and been thinkin my cat was backed up a lil(its also 16 years old)... thanx for the feedback at least now i kno its not me lol
