Default EF upper ball joint replacement

In the attemp of installing a camber kit on a 89 civic hatch i came across a set of SBC upper ball joints and im trying to remove the old stock ones but the will not budge, any tricks? It almost looks like they are not intended to be removed but acording to SBC they should work.

I dont know about the 89 but my 91 hatch i took it off. Try to take your uca off your car take it to a shop that has a press ask them to press it out and then your spc will fit in perfectly were the stock one was. Trust me you wont be able to get that balljoint out with out a big press. It cost me $20.00 to get both arms pressed out. So dont let them tell you other wise good luck with this, i have the spc works great make sure you tighten the top adjustment bolt, **** i didn't tighten it down good enough and was driving all squierly on the freeway funny ****.

good luck man any more questions let me know.

89 arms wont come off. gotta find 90-91 arms that will be able to press off the old balljoint.
