Default iacv or Eacv wiring, help ??

Got a 96 CX with a Ls in it and im Trying to wire in my eacv from scratch cuz the harness is as cut up and im getting code 14 and its pissing me off cuz the car will bog when its at WOT. So i'm trying to run my own wires to to the eacv...

on the plug side which pin is the one that goes to the ecu? the one closer to the clip or the one away from the clip? the clip being the little part on the plug that you have to press in order to remove the plug from the sensor

also why does every one say that you have to unplug a13 pin on the ecu? if it is not to be used cant you just leave it?

so I have to run a wire from a12 to the pin that is awayfrom the clip on the plug and power to the top (green wire in picture) pin? where can I run the power from?

also that schematic shows that you have to unpin a13, if it is unused does anyone know why it has to be unpinned?

I just tried it ran a wire from a12 to the bottom of the plug and ignition ~12v to the top of the plug still getting code 14, tried switching the wires. This is supposed to be on the new iacv that I switched in.

any one know what else I can try?
could it be a bad ecu?
