Are CX and DX exhaust systems interchangeable for eg hatches?

Are CX and DX exhaust systems interchangeable for eg hatches?
I have a 93 DX hatch with an apexi n1 full catback exhaust, was going to sell the car and wanted to swap with my friends CX stock catback system. Is it interchangeable with no modifications? because i know CX has the cat converter on the header, so im not sure. thanks
