Default Car Went Completely Dead

While changing the radiator . . . we left the stereo playing. After the install was complete, we tried turning on the car (in order to look for leaks) and we heard "bbzzzin" (power outage?) noise and everything turned off. Now lights, stereo, etc will not turn on . Car only turns on when it is jumped but as soon as it is turned off . . . it wont start or even light up again.

Symptoms? What can be wrong?

Need car for work tomorrow, so any help we be appreciated

Thanks

I'm tripping about the noise I heard? Any idea of what it could have been?

that sounds like a wire grounding or shorting out. have you checked all your fuses? under dash and engine bay fuses? i would really check for that as it could mean trouble ahead for you....
