Zeal S6 Coilovers
I plan on changing my suspension in my R rather soon, and I am looking at a set of Zeal S6's. I read that Zeal's street setup damper is 10k front, and 6k rear. I also read that their race setup is 12k front, 8k rear.. Is the street setup too stiff for daily driving? Anybody own these?
i was going to get the S6 or the TEIN RS coilovers but honestly that is WAY to stiff for street use. B6 or the HA or even RA is best for street use imo. i got the HA's with upper pillowball mounts, TRUST me they're worth it. they're only about 1400 all around with the pillow ball mounts.

Yeah, I don't want super super super stiff coilovers that are going to make it much easier for me to scrape my front lip...
Don't you like your Konis? I love the Konis for driving around town, I think they are perfect for daily driving. With the S6s, would you really want to adjust them all the time? Waste of time unless you have your own in-house pit stop and crew.

yep... The S6's are awesome! There's another H-T in Okinawa who has ridden in my car and thought the springs were softer than that! All I can say is my car handles like it is on rails. I have a softer set of 12kg/8kg but I like these too much to change...

Zeal S6...weak, compared to these...
Although I wouldn't reccomend for street.I have the S6 12k/8k setup and I actually wouldn't mind something a bit stiffer. I might have to try out something Like Dee's setup
S6 is not recommended in California roads.. Especially driving around the city with potholes and what not. You will easily bend your S6.
As for B6 is just more expensive than the HA, it's not true. B6 don't rust like the HA and it is way easier to adjust. In addition, the B6 has seperate height and damping adjustment.
Dee: aRE you really in Japan? If you are, try your setup in the US and see if it's any worst. I'm sure it will be.
How I love to live in Germany with their silky smooth roads.

S6 Wont bend, I've driven through NYC (Pothole "Crater" Capital of the world) and Live and Drive through Boston all the time (Big Dig and should be 2nd in behind NYC)
No problems at all

I installed the Super Functions last week, and I must say...they're pretty comfortable on the first setting! I'm already deciding if I should run 16kg/14kg. When I get more seat time, I'll tell you guys my experience with them.
Yes, I'm really in Japan! Ask Leo(ITRinEJ), Shane(Kengs), Dave(JDM_DOHC_SiR) and MiraiZ. I had '96 spec Tein N1's with 14kg/12kg and the setup I have now feels mucho better! The valving on the Zeal's is awesome! I run a 3/3 setting for street cruising, 6/4 for the Tarmac (street section of the rally course up north) and 3/6 for drag race events.
