Rear Disc Brakes (Searched)
Yea I picked up this rear disc swap a few months ago and now that my d15b swap is done I guess I should tackle this.(my shoes are squeaking anyway...too many yanks of the e-brake ) But I got a quesiton. I think the swap I got was from a 93 teg...but everything appears that it should bolt right into place on my 95 hatch. All the things I have read only speak about 94-01 tegs. Any thoughts on this one? And the LCA's are all ready for a sway bar so is it ok to use these teg LCA's? Do you think that I should just pick up some omni's instead or another brand? And should I use 92-95 SI E-Brake Cables or 2 door teg? Thanks a lot.
The trailing arms will bolt up. Make sure you use the Civic toe arm and the Civic upper control arm. I heard the DA LCA will bolt up, you can try it since you have it. Kteller is selling Omni LCAs for $100 shipped (well to Hawaii that is, may be cheaper). I think the ebrake cable will work from the DA, if it doesn't, 92-95 Si cables will work.
you can just bolt up the rear disc, you do not have to replace anything unless you want to. all the Lcas dictate is what suspensions ans sways u will run. I had omni's on my Si, they are nice quality....no complaints.
