Default Aftermarket Brakes for 94 Accord

It's about that time for a break change. Just wondering if any of you guys have any experience with any certain brands, V6, or just getting same oem ones. Just tryin to save some money!

Most people like to put brembo rotors..... but... no matter what... make sure you get some ceramic brake pads... they reduce the brake dust, have better performance against OEM brake pads and if I am not mistaken, hold higher temperatures as well, improving the braking power.

axxis ultimate is just as quiet as oem pad.

it depends on the brand and material.

i would suggest the following:

axxis ulimate pad

OEM rotor/brembo rotor

DOT 4 brake fluid, change the fluid and bleed the system while you at it, it's one of the most overlooked thing.

don't bother with SS line or drilled/slotted rotor

you can upgrade your brakes to V6 ones only if your rims are 15" or larger....I really cannot say if it will be cheaper as it depends upon how much you pay for the V6 knuckle with everything attached to it.............Just upgrading the fronts to V6 brakes will shorten your stopping distance considerably.......

Many options, just depends on which one you want to take and how deep your wallet is:

1) Brembo blanks
2) Poweslot Rotors
3) V6 Rotors
4) Prelude Rotors
5) Hawk Pads
6) Axxis Pads
7) AEM Pads
8) Legend Calipers
9) Prelude Calipers
10) NSX Calipers
11) ITR Calipers (I think)

I'm sure there's more but that's just what I've heard of or read about. Me personally, I'm going with either brembo blanks or power slot rotors on my gf's 96 and Axxis Ultimates. Good luck.

as far as OEM replacement goes, im currently useing 'Satisfied' ceramics, real quiet, havent heard them yet, everything else feels like stock, pedal feel, cant really say much about stopping power because im still breaking them in and havent been hard on them..and they're only about 40-50 bucks too
