TIE ROD STUD/NUT Just Spin - WTF Happenned - Quick Fix?
No idea how this happenned, I dont know if something broke sometime during the continuous assembly and reassembly but the nut and stud that holds the tie rod to the tire assembly just spins up inside the tierod
The nut wont back off or come up and theres such a small ammount of thread that I cant grip it with a set of vice grips
I tried with a small set of vice grips but cant hold it enough to spin the nut on or off
Has anyone ever had this happen?, The tie rod is basically new, maybe 1 year old I believe but the stud just spins, I dont get how it attaches up inside the tie rod, can something break there?
The nut is on by probably 7 threads, needs maybe 11-12 more to make it up there
Need to know what tricks there are to get this **** up there

that can happen, try to hit it with a air gun, the "bolt" inside the tie rod is ment to rotate when you turn the wheel. somtimes it'll jus rotate around when your using hand tools. but make sure the crown nut is properly threaded on, if not it can jus get stuck and strip, then u gotta replace the tie-rod end
if it continues to spin. then make sure the bolt is in straight and try an impact gun but if that doesnt work, then the whole tie rod and ball joint is messed up. just replace them. for both its less then 50 at autozone.
