Okay, Here is a random one.
I was driving today, when my car sputtered a little and black smoke poured out of the exhaust. The only difference from anything that I would call normal driving was that I was accellerating faster than normal (but not gunning/redlinning/etc It's an un-modified 91... It can't "redline"). After shifting gears, it cleared.
Although I have tried to duplicate this, I have not had it happen again, and it never happened before either. My normal mechanic said it sounds like it flooded a little bit, and not to worry unless it repeats.
Any further suggestions or advice is greatly appreciated.
