Car wont idle below 3000... Help me!
just as the title says...i cant get my car to idle below 3000rpm's. Its an LS/Vtec with a gsr head, stock gsr intake manifold with the secondaries removed and an h23 throttle body. Anyone have any ideas???

I checked every vac line on the car, i even hooked up a vac. gauge and it read steady at 20hg. vac... i also tried 2 different idle speed motors, and checked the throttle cable to make sure it wasnt stuck open or anything...it still idles at 3 grand.

check the fast idle valve on the manifold. I had the same problem with my ls/vtec. Should take about 15 min. to check. All u need is a 10mm socket and a ratchet. with a flat head screw driver turn clockwise until u cant any more.

i think we are gonna rip the intake mani off tomorrow and start from ground zero and replace every vac. line we can find and make sure everything is sealed up tight.
