oil almost quart low?
i went to go change my oil today and i checked it before i changed it.. it was about a quart low, and it was dirty ofcourse.. the oil was roughly 3200 miles old.. when i took the filter off it was alot heavier then the new one.. defective fram filter?
Note: dont think its my valve seals because im not blowin smoke out of my exhaust, searched the whole motor over, no leaks anywhere. motors at about 98,000 miles.. D16y8, all stock internals, just the ocasional bolt ons

Common thing with Honda cars. Seems like they burn about a quart in between changes. All of mine seemed to do it. I just topped them off about every 1500 miles.

Common thing with almost all cars. Cars burn oil after a while. A quart between changes is considered normal.
Now you should be alarmed if up to this day it never burned oil. Or if your next oil change is substantially more. However, if it is constant don't worry about it. Just my 0.02
Cheers.

Average car burns 1qt every 1,000mi. Oil Filter is heavier cause its wet and has debris inside it. I would go with a factory filter instead of a Fram
