JRSC B18C5 with ITR pistons and LS Rods?
what are the benefits and or are there any downfalls to running ITR pistons with LS rods on an JRSC ITR?
If I understand correctly, which i may not, the LS rods woudl yield more torque, correct?
thanks

swapping out the rods wont do you much good withought the LS crankshaft. Honestly you will be better with leaving the b18c alone and bolting the JRSC to it.
What you are describing is simular to a LS/Vtec, i personally would just keep the b18c5 for reliability and power.

the charger has been in, just gettinG to the point to rebuild the block with forged pistons and rods as well as gapless rings. Just wanted to get a feel for the changes.
The ITR crank is counterweighed and balanced, what if the LS crank is sent out for the same?
I guess what I am asking all forged internals with the LS cranck machine balanced etc....
I had seen some post explaining the difference between the ITR crank and LS, but I could not find them again, so that is all I vaguely remember about them.
