Alright, I have a stock 94 ls w/ 138k on it, when driving on the highway at constant speeds my thermostat barely clears the mark over the letter C. Now when I'm idling or in stop/go traffic, my stat goes between 1/4 and 1/2 the way up(never gets higher than that mark however, and the fan does kick on) it cant be normal to have that kinda fluctuation in temp or am I wrong, this is my first honda so I'm a little lost, input is greatly appreciated.

 

Get a new thermo. You'll be

 

Sounds like it's stuck open, get a new one

Thanks for the input, I went after work and replaced the thermostat and it did the trick, the link helped out a lot with the install.
