Default skunk 2 stage2 with valves?

I was wondering what valves to get with s2s2 cams. should i also get them oversized or not? I was leaning towards the s2 valves but im not sure and i don't know if i should get them oversized.

^ what he said..... otherwise you may have clearance issues with valve to valve and/ or valve to piston contact.....

Besides, there are plenty on here making 250, 300, 400, 500, 600 ,700 , 800whp+ with stock valves.....

do you think that ther will be a problem with those cams making the valves touch the piston with 12.5:1 compression? also will i need to get springs and retainers for that cam setup

When you start venturing into the higher compression ratios, you need to start playing with cam timing. This is where claying a motor will be beneficial... At zero cam timing there shouldn't be a problem with contact...

albeit, the Skunk stg 2s will not get you all the power you're looking for ... I would seriously consider a larger cam if you want to make the most power...Maybe a Toda C

I have an option of getting the jun 3's used for $405 a brand new set of s2s2 pro series for $600. you think that the toda c's are more potent than the pro series? I thought it was the other way around. let me know which one you would buy. also what sprinds and retainers should i go with? by the way after i rebuild me motor i will give the credit to the people that help me out the most on here to blueprint out my motor. so far i have eagle rods, je 12.5:1 pistons, aem feul rail and regulator, fidanza flywheel, aem intake, crane cam gears,etc.....now i have to get still is hondata and wide band, camshafts, complete head job, good tuner, motor clayed, new clutch, feul pump, injectors. what do you think about that? am i missing anything?

You posted this in another thread and I replied there.

The valve reliefs in the pistons *may* need to be opened up a bit depending on cam choice. Your engine builder should be competent enough to handle this. CLAY CLAY CLAY.
