Default Sway Bar/Tie Bar Combo Ideas

Hey guys i want to get a pair of sway/tie bars for front and rear on my 2000 civic si...what do you guys suggest? i want something that will keep the rear pretty damn stiff. any good sway bar tie bar setups?

the ek years' subframe is pretty flimsy, with a bar bigger than 19mm you should have some sort of subframe reinforcement i/e ASR or Comptech.
btw, those serve a dual function of stiffening the frame in much the same manner as a tie bar, but because of their bulk and quality manufacturing, will stiffen more than the average tie bar ever could.
that being said, there isnt generally a lot of flex in that area warranting a tie bar, but the bling factor seems to override that.

for the front, you have a 26mm bar stock. I dont know of any aftermarket bar that equals your current front bar in size, so swapping that out wont really serve much benefit.

so for upgrading the rear, asr/itr bar gets my vote. im currently running the asr brace with a blox 21mm and have no reqrets. its a good setup. it could be a little stiffer, but this is a street car, i dont need to go to crazy with it.

cool stuff!! i definitely have been checking out the ASR subframe for some time now and i was just questioning which sway bar to get...ok thanks a lot i will keep yall updated on what i get!

I use a Mugen 24mm rear bar on my '99 Si, I like it. I just use some cheap tie bar and a Beaks kit with it.
