Default header help

i am looking to get a header, i would like toda race header, BUT i dont want to invest in k-pro or reflash, or run lean....so what should i do? stick with a regular header and test pipe/cat-back? if i DO go regular header/testpipe/cat-back will the O2 sensors still have a place to go? what about check engine lights? im confused help

You can run a Toda RH without K-pro or reflash. Unless you are annoyed with a check engine light. You can always use an o2 simulator.

if youre gonna go stock header and testpipe catback youre going to have to get the o2 sensors placed on the test pipe. then youre going to need to defoul, or find some way to not throw CEL

well if u get a race header u will not pass emmisions
i guess to some people that doesn't matter and there will be some backpressure also
i'd say get a short tube header with a new exhaust and a high flow cat u might make a little less power but u will still make power, and in 2 or 3 years u wont have to worry about taking ur car to a shop to switch back...

Shorty headers = almost no power gain...and about the waranty...you don't have to switch if you need to take it to the shop....you are allowed to put an aftermarket exhaust on your car, you will just lose your exhaust warranty(rust, damage, etc.)...thats all. If you have a problem with the engine and the dealership can produce PHYSICAL evidence that an aftermarket exhaust was the cause of the problem, then you're screwed!!

right, but wut about getting a RH, and using sims or defouler, and getting a fuel pressure regulator? you can adjust it so the car wont run lean, they make them for other honda's why not for the k-series? has anyone done this? herd of this being done? im not tryin to blow by cobras and camaros i just wanna be the fastest honda on the streets around here so i dont really want a 1000$ k-pro u kno?

To be honest kpro is one of the best mods i have done. I would rather buy kpro and a used DCRH (200) than saving up and getting the TODA (though id rather go with SSR)

i would go kpro also because right now i have a 2.5" inch catback and test pipe but i feel a major loss of power in the midrange, until 6 grand then the car pulls hard.

I know tuning will unleash the potential of the car.

about the fuel regulators, since our cars have a return less fuel system you have to do alot of modifications for it to work.
