Hey whats up everyone... I've a question for all of you So Cali guys.. I am looking for ENRIQUE HERNANDEZ who was formally my engine builder. I cannot find the dang guy and he literally STOLE my motor.
Enrique has been my engine builder for a few years now.. He fully built my Ls-Vtec motor... it has 12.5:1 pistons, eagle rods, fully built head, with Jun 3 cams... It put out 222whp at Church Automotive Tuning in Torrance... About 6 monthes ago, I noticed a slight bottum end noise from my engine that he built for me. So I called him and told him the situation. I told him to tear the motor apart and let me know if it was drivers error or mechanical error.. I specifically told him that if it was drivers error, then I AM willing to pay for the repair... Obviously, I was being a very rational customer.. I also told him to take his time because I really don't like things like that to be rushed.. So I dropped my motor at his new shop in Pomona at some airplane hanger that he just moved into... I patiently waited for about a month and decided to call him to follow up on the status of my motor. He never picked up.. I thought " Okay, he's probably really busy so I just let him be." Another month rolls by and I decided to call him again.. This time I left a message.. One week later, he returns my message.. He ended up telling me that he never touched the motor since I've dropped it off and that he decided to not build motors and do strictly fab work.. Basically, this guy has left my motor sitting to collect dust for the past 2 monthes and has the ***** to say that he's not going to check out my motor 1 week prior to the phone call that I recieved from him and yet, still not honor his work that he recieved 2 MONTHES before he made the decision.. I was very cordual about it and thought " Dang this guy has messed up business ethics, but whatever, I'll just pick it up then". A few weeks later, I found time to pick up the motor, and decided to call him.... "We're sorry, the number you have reached has been disconnected or is no longer in service." I was like "WTF!" The next morning I went to his shop. EVERYTHING was cleaned out! The neighboring businesses told me that he move his shop to Montclair... Never found him since...
As you all know, I was being very cordual about the whole situation to him.. As much as it sucked for what he did, I never raised my voice at him for any reason.. I spent over 6k worth of motor work with him and he has the idasity to pull this **** on me... So PLEASE!!! If anyone knows where this guy is, please help me out!... If there's someone out there that can send this message out to him please do so... This is my final step from slapping a small claims lawsuit on him... Thank you...

 

wow that sucks man. Do you know where he lives? Why not go visit his house?

 

Damn man I'd go ahead and slap that lawsuit on him real quick. Not to be a dick but what are you doing being so cordial and lack-a-dasical for 2 months over a 6k engine? Anywho research his name through public records or use one of those online background checks and you'll find him real quick.

sucks..... but you waited MONTHS just to check on the thing.... i mean come on. if it were that important, you couldve taken more interest in your engine.

hopefully you'll find him and the engine is in the same condition that you left it in.


oh, and you had him build you a race engine and when it craps out, you want him to repair it for free? i mean if it crapped out on the first start up, i understand....... but you said 6 months in your initial post.

 

this is the thing.. he used to work off his back yard.. his whole garage was a big machine shop... so yes.. i did know where he lived... he moved out... but my snap-on guy has pretty good hook-ups when it comes to backround checks.. so yes.. i did have his home number and his previous addy... back then my work schedule was crazy so I had no time... and when i did, it was very minimal... thanks for the support!!
