i have a chip p28 euc, i was told by ebay seller that the chip ecu well make the check engine light show, but i know that if the check engine light is on then the v-tec is shut off, is the ebay seller mistaken or does the check engine light suppose to show with a chip ecu???

 

can u rev pass 4500 rpm?

a chip ecu should NOT have a check engine light

he could of sold u a bad ecu

btw its vtec

 

i could rev to 8,000 rpm but there is no vtec switch over

the ebay seller might have remove the vtec or just messed it up
