Default tire and wheel size

Ok, everybody has been telling me that 205/50R15 is the best tire and wheel combo for my EF, that all the Honda challenge guys are running this size, and that this combo is taller than my current 205/40R16, due to the "aspect ratio". Now, how do I calculate this ratio?

This said, what would be a good wheel to buy? One that could double as a daily driver and a track performer?

And how about tires? Thanks in advance to all who respond

I perfer 15s on my hatch, 16s are too big. I have gsr blades with 205-50s and they work just fine
