ok i was gettin code 43...fuel related...everything else has been replaced...cept for injectors...so i look up prices, find that venom 260cc injectors (aside from the stock 240cc) are the same...so i figured...why not? more power for me ...i put em in...the difference is huge, with my chipped pr4, its like i got vtec from about 3500 in a ls, i can feel the car pull like crazy, but it sure idles like **** tho...anyway to straighten this out? plugs are good, pretty much everything is new or in damm good shape.

 

wait, you put in bigger injectors with no air/fuel tuning? That might be part of your problem

 

running too rich at idle...you need to tune..

Who chipped your ecu? Might be a good place to start.

 

its a mugen chip...

Man please get rid of that "mugen" chip and those injectors..Get some stock 240cc injectors and a stock program for the ecu,,,,or have the ecu retuned for the 260cc injectors....I dont know why you think rich = power....Its not like that with honda motors..

well feel free to send me about 250 for some new stock injectors...cuz my old ones were shot. and i have a stock pr4 ecu thank you.

You're the one that said you have a mugen chip..How is that stock ecu when its chipped.??

All Im saying is you have to remap the ecu for the larger injectors,,Or get stock injectors and stock ecu program for it to run right..

 

i have a mugen chipped pr4, and a stock pr4...amazingggg. it runs a lil worse with the stock ecu, power wise that is, but they both have the rough idle. where would i get my ecu remapped?

Since you have the one ecu thats already chipped and socketed,,use that..Have someone send you a chip remapped for the larger injectors..Check out http://xenocron.com maybe he can help..

Or you buy some blank chips and a chip burner,,and do it yourself..
