Do I need to bleed the MC cause the system was opened for 1 week? then each caliper. I tried bleeding the calipers and I bled them really good and Its only gotten 10% better...And also are those pump hoses that you connect to the bleeder screw useful?

 

Yeah dude bleed the whole thing all over again, MC & all.

Those quick bleeders are nice if you don't have a helper.

 

I know what there is like a hose and a trigger with some sort of reservoir for the air/fluid to run to but I just dont get how can the screw be loosened with the hose over it? And as for the MC to be bled, how can that be done?

 

Well for the MC....you hook 2 little hoses up to the output lines on the MC, then just loop them back up into the top (reservior). Now keep the MC still while you pump the rod repeatedly, watching for all the air bubbles to stop coming thru the lines eventually - I don't have a vise so I just set it against the edge of a work bench and leaned against it with my hip LOL.....tedious but it got the job done.

I'm not sure about the speed bleeders just follow the instructions?? I'd go the old fashioned route....just tell your girlfriend to push the brake pedal while you bleed
