Default Radiator end tank design question

Hello,
I'm getting ready to make a radiator for my project and I want the radiator's inlet and outlet both to be on the driver's side end tank (side flow radiator obviously).

My question is: Will that end tank need a divider to keep the coolant from flowing straight down from the inlet to the outlet? I'm concerned that the coolant would flow straight down the driver's side end tank without ever flowing throught the fins.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Fred

Yes there needs to be a divider installed in the tank. Try to make it fit as tight as possible to the header ( part the tanks are soldered or welded to)the divider doesn't need to be sealed 100%
