Radiator Over Flow Question
If it's above the radiator, it will try to siphon down to the level of the filler neck every time you take the radiator cap off. If it's below, it shouldn't be a problem, although it might not purge as well, since it will have to lift coolant a greater distance.
the coolent recovery tank? i dont think so, just make sure the tube is near the bottom. because when the coolent pressure gets high it sends coolent to there, and when its low its sucks from there.
Yup. It's actually referred to as a "purge tank" in some cases, because it's there to help get all the air out of the system. When the coolant is hot, it expands and forces trapped air out into the purge tank, and when it cools down, it contracts and draws fluid back into the system. It's more than a simple overflow catch tank.

I have relocated mine next to the battery, which is higher than the
stock loaction. I had to since my K&N was a long type. Sucks harder too.
No problems after 3 years.
