I've heard you have to mill 1mm off the rods but what part do i mill off? The wrist pins aren't going into the rods so i'm guess thats where i mill it off, correct? If i mill it off, the inside of the rod where the wrist pins slide in wouldn't be smoth anymore. Would that cause problems? Does anyone have pictures of a milled rod to fit CTR wrist pins?
i dont think you mill the rods. i think you get the wristpin hole bored to accept the piston and pins for the ctr pistons. you will have to get a machine shop to do it, otherwise you will destroy the rods.

email endyn or skunk or someone, or go downstairs to the other forums and ask. someone will help. you could try calling a local "tuner" shop. everyone here is lookin lazy on this one
you mill the sides of the rod where the wrist pin slides through both the rod and piston. the diameter of the wrist pin between your standard P30 pistons and PCT pistons are the same. you shouldnt have any problems with additional friction if the person doing the milling knows what they are doing.

hey, thanks! i get what you mean. I need clearance between the rod and piston right because when i put the rod inside the PCT piston, theres no clearance like how it's on a p30 piston. Thanks again!
