Depends how much money you have and how much you make. I only make $10 an hour part time, and food eats my wallet fast so buying a IS300 anytime soon is out of the question. I'm just doing mods to my 2000 Civic EX a/t to get a power gain decent enough to keep me happy until I can get enough for an Is300. So also consider how long it'll take you to get your RSX-S and if it's worth the wait to sit on your car as is until then.

Why wouldnt u want to consider switching over to manual? Imo i think civics suck *** in auto but yet again its your ride, Intake header exhaust isnt gonna make a hell of a diffrence in a lil sohc if your planning to build it. If you wanan do something that will make people heads turn, just drop in a turbo, but yet again, if your saving for an rsx motor why dont you start with other mods that will convert to it, example, short shifter, etc

depends which way he wants to go too. I personally want to stay auto, plus i cant drive stick yet... yes im sad i know... if he is looking at a k20 swap or a rsx-s, id go for the swap since like you said, it's a head turner. plus the power in a light *** 00 civ is pretty good.

i have a 95 honda civic.
i wanna keep mine auto too.
everyone tells me to change it to manual.
i am trying to prove to everyone that autos can keep up.

and no dude, civics dont suck, they are light cars and when you drop a nice engine in them it = pretty damn fast.

mine is stock at the moment, im looking to drop a GSR.

It will not be worth the money.. you will notice no difference other than noise for the money you spend on IHE.

Yeah not worth to throw away money on an auto tranny civic. Just start put some cash aside in your saving account for that DC5...
