how many miles do u have on your benson sleeved block

Default how many miles do u have on your benson sleeved block

i have a benson sleeved block and earl assembled im trying to get an idea of how long my built motor will last so if u guys could just post what pistons/rod combos u went with and how many miles you have

thats kind of a broad question. Earl doesnt build magic blocks, just like anyting else assembled correctly, it will last for a very long time if maintained and tuned properly

i know, so im wondering how many miles people have put on them, its definately not cuz i dont trust his work, i defiantely do.

Mine has Pauter rods and CP pistons and I have driven it daily for over a year. Raced it on the weekends, drove it around on 12psi daily. Run 25 psi at the track and it hasn't given me one single problem. Probably around 20,000 miles total to answer your question simply.

mines going on 2 years soon and over 30k miles. 83mm cp's / pauters and bottom end was assembled by Earl (acl's/ new oil/h2o pump etc). to benson/earl

good to hear, im running the same combos, pauter/cp mines 84mm. im hoping i can get at least 50k miles daily driven out of this machine. and a few weekends at the track. i possibly want to do a cross country run as well. nothign fast but just take a trip with it across country. new york to cali and back. i want to hear some more people, how long has your block lasted?
