Default overheating problem/ A/C don't work

Wuts up ppl? well I got a 93 hatchback and the car overheats while idling. I checked the cooling fan fuse and it was good. I then checked the cooling fan relay and its also good. They told me that it could be the thermoswitch or thermosensor. How do I know which one it is and if it's not that, then what else could caue this. The cooling fan works because I took it straight to the battery so the fan works. Thanks for your help.

Another problem I got is that my A/C turns off and on. Now its mostly off. The lights in the climate control is whats off which as well is the A/C. What could it be? Thanks for your help.

IT COULD POSSIBLY BE THE RADIATOR IF ITS ONLY AT IDLE THERMOSTAT OR POSSIBLY THE WATER PUMP

no the fan is run by the computer and it senses when the motor is to hot not the radiator so it only turns on when the radiator does
try the little cork screw at the bottom of the radiator also mine fell out last night and overheated this morning fixed now replace your hoses all three not just the ones coming from the radiator

usually its the fan relay.. or thermo switch located on the thermostat housing... are u sure the fan relay is working???? have you tried bypassing the relay and seeing if that does the trick????

use a volt meter to check the thermo switch on the thermostat housing. its very easy to do. or you can just jump the thermo switch with a paper clip at the plug. i had mine like that for a few years and its fine.
