You guys are way too quick to jump to conclusions. Why not just say that EVERY Type R part on Ebay is stolen, why just point this one out? You guys need to relax unless you have conclusive proof. It could be a perfectly legit auction.
Also, for the record, no offense to anyone but, if you emailed me asking to see my badge # of my car, I'd tell you to go screw. I don't know you and would care less what you "thought" was going on. I'm being realistic here, don't take offense.

Vin - I Wouldnt buy any major parts without getting and checking a # first
Plaque - Why wouldnt he say what # it is Since he is selling it, Im sure the buyer would like to know before purchasing.

If he was selling a motor or body/chassis parts then I could see why.
For instance, I bought seats from a very well respected member of this board. I did not ask for a VIN/Badge #. Now, lets say I want to sell these parts. If I cannot provide a VIN/Badge does that mean my parts are stolen?
I'm just saying that people need to relax a bit. Everytime there is an ITR part for sale somewhere, it is assumed stolen and the seller then looks bad without proof. This is WRONG any way you look at it.
It is impossible to tell the validity of a deal every single time unfortunately. Even still, we should not go around pointing fingers.
