I have just done a rear disc conversion and upgraded the rest of the brake system on my d15b delsol. I have delsol sir rear discs and dc2 integra front discs master cylinder and bb.
My question is will a 3040 propvalve be fine for this setup? Its just 40/40s are hard to find.

Also my discs clamp tight and rub when the brakes heat up and release again when they are cool, any ideas why?

yes.. u need the 4040 prop valve.. when i did my rear disc conversion on my 92 cx hatchie.. the rear brakes locked up easily before the front.. and it was scary in the rain.. when someone pulled out in front of me.. i was sideways trying to stop.. its dangerous.. just get the right prop valve.. find a honda junkyard.. or find a pick a part and get the prop valve of a civic ex or integra with rear disc

3040 prop would do for you cause it is from a si hatch with disc all around. don't know si = to where you from...
as for the disc clamp tight and rub. you might have seize pins for piston.

 

I went to the junk yard and pulled two prop valves off of 2 different si hatches. One was a 30/40 and the other is a 30/30. The both appeared to be original prop valves. I sold the 30/40 and still have the 30/30 if you are interested. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1571624

 

you still need the 40/40, i've seen stock dx hatchbacks come with 4040's while i was looking for my prop val. Also you can use them off of integras 90's and up
