What would cause my idle to go from 800-1400rpm constantly? it just drops then goes up then drops ect ect ect... thanx in advance

 

a vacum line thats missing from your manifold.or riped ect.its because it gets air but your tps sensor sais that the throtle is allthe way closed .so the ecu cuts your gasoline on and on.but ya. check all your vacumm hoses

 

if would check Idle air control valve (search) first clean that, next check for vacuum leaks by spraying carb cleaner around where intake mani meets the head it will start to idle normal once that is sprayed on meaning u have a vacuum leak, next try you fast idle thermal valve (search for fitv). it has to be one of those things

 

PCV valve. IAC or cracked gasket. Bring it over, I'll take a look if you like.
