trans plug to put oil in

Default trans plug to put oil in

i have a 1st gen b16 and i was wondering where the bolth was on the trans to fill the trans fluid back up? and pictures or descriptions would herlp tyhnks

just locate your speed sensor. remove the 10 or 12 mm bolt holding it on and pull the speed sensor off. then pour in the fluid. install the reverse way of removal and you are done.

thats pretty retarted,
especially when you can just take out the plug on the side above the axle, let me ask do you fill your engine oil thru the dipstick tube because its easier than removing the cap , you need to use this bolt and fill it up till it runs out the hole, otherwise there is no way of telling if the proper amount of oil is in.

^ haha if you say so. when its just a single person doing it, this is the easiest way without wearing the oil. and if you know how much a tranny takes then your golden. maybe if you dont remove all the trans fluid ( adding because its low ) then i can see how you cannot tell if the proper amount is in. but if you have drained it (as in replacing an axle ) then you can do it this way.

you can still fill it this way and leave the bolt off to check if there is enough in there can you not? ive never had a problem.
