Default OBD0 -> OBD1 conversion

I am doing the OBDO to OBDI conversion on my 91 CRX Si, the engine is a '99 D16Y8 (which as you all know is OBDII). My question is can I just put on the OBDI dizzy on the D16Y8 engine and run the P28 ECU and 4 wire O2 sensor or am I required to do something else?

Feedback greatly appreciated

obd1 and obd2 dizzys work the same but have different mounting holes. obd0 & obd2 mount the same and obd1 are a little different but you can use it.

with a y8 head, use a y8 dizzy, or a td41u dizzy. The td41 is from a nonvtec EG civic

Also Nick, I got your PM today, my condolences.

So I cannot just slap on the OBDI on the Y8 head?

yes everthing will work with dizzy, but im not sure about the knock sensor. I don't think it should matter because a p28 won't be looking for knock sensor.
