Default Radio Code Issue

Hey everyone, I got a '00 Accord and I needed to replace my battery yesterday. This morning, I turned it on and asked me for "CODE". I found my card with the serial number and the CODE number but it doesnt work. About 3 years ago, I had the deck replaced under warranty and dont know if this code is for my old deck or the new deck. The serial number is B30152062D. The code is 54332. Can someone confirm this?

There is a guy, on the forum, who can get the code for you (with serial #). If you can wait for him to show up. Good luck

Have you tried just stopping by a dealer, especially the dealer where you had the replacement radio installed? Since you have the serial number they should provide the information (the code) for free. When you read about dealers wanting $60 or $80 to obtain the code, that's when they have to remove the radio to get the serial number. Not that removing the radio is hard, but it does take some time and you are paying for a trained mechanic's time.

The serial number you provided is of your new radio and not the original one, right?

You need to obtain the correct serial # and I can get the code for you.
Also I need to know your VIN# and last name. If the last name does not match what Honda has in the system I won't be able to give you the code.
You need to remove the trim around the radio and look at the sticker on top of the unit.
But if the dealer installed the radio it was their responsibility to give you the code. They should do it for free to save you the trouble.
