Default my car is running rich.

ok heres the prob i did a mpfi swap in my std. i rebuilt a d16a6 engine and tranny and did the swap. every thing runs good but it is running really rich and im only getting about 15 miles to the gallon. i was justwondering if any one could help.

it was throwing a o2 sensor code but i got that fixed i think it not throwing it anymore.

check two things, take a voltmeter to the o2 sensor, the voltage should jump up and down. Next check out your IAT sensor on your intake manifold, this caused my car to run a bit rich.

it can be something stupid such as spark plugs, wires, dizzy cap & rotor or dirty *** injectors.

and check for codes

Just changed my plugs and wire and put some Lucas Injector cleaner into my last tank of gas and my mileage has increased by a lot. I'll be planning on doing cap and rotor next.
