My ITR has 92000km on it, have no problem with the car, until yesterday

when i was driving it was making a clicking sound when it's in gear and i let off the gas or when i put in to neutral and let off the gas.

When i accerate, everything seem normal until i let off the gas.

Any idea what the problem maybe?

 

axles? rocks in the tires?

what area is the sound coming from?

 

yup, i'd definately check for rocks in the tires... i've thought i had a bad axle 4-5 times now. all have been stupid rocks in the tires

 

i only did a quick visual inspection yesterday

well... i just went to jack up my car and take off the rim, and i notice there are a scratches to my rim and 3 of the 5 lug nuts was loose

could it be that it came loose on it own? or the work of car thieves??

after tighting the lug nuts the noise went away...

 

If they were not torqued down enough it's possible that they just came off on their own. Did you have your wheels off recently for any reason?

Thinking it was theives just makes me paronoid .

 

i did change the rim about 3 weeks ago
