Default Pressure in tank

This morning I went to the store and when I came out my car wouldn't start. I've had this problem before, but this is the first time since the swap. I noticed that the CEL would not go off when you turn the car to the on position after the fuel system is supposed to prime. I also noticed that you couldn't hear the fuel system prime either. Also when I fill up with fuel I would notice that there was lots of pressure when I would remove the gas cap. I pulled the negative cable from the battery to reset the ecu and it started right up. Please let me know what you think

make sure your vent isnt clogged or kinked..

i think the vent runs back to the gas cap i believe.. along side the fill spout.

Also I noticed that the car is also running rich. I just checked and there is no vent tube visible in the filler neck.

Would that make my tank build pressure to the point where it crawls back up the filler neck when it's full and release lots of air when the cap is removed.

I just thought it was weird when it started bubbling out the filler neck, thats all. Also when it wouldn't start I couldn't hear the fuel pump prime so I didn't know if that had something to do with it.
