Default h22 swap on 91 civic question

im in the middle of the swap of an h22 on a 91 civic hatch. regaurding the wiring part....ppl say that if you convert the harness by hand is not hard at all. but taking the harness under the knife is risky since all the wires are different colors.all the swaps ive done are just in the mechanical stuff. like rewelding motor mount locations. custon axels..ect. some say that if yu convert your stock civic harness to your h22 by way of the knife you will only end up with like 3 wires left..lol but the problem is that the h22 has a lot more wires on it harness than the civics harness.its an obd1 motor.does anyone have a wiring istruction to convert an si harness of a 91 civic to a h22 harness. idont care if i have to put the harness under surgery. im stuck in the midle of the swap and its driving me insane..plz help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i will bow down to any one that can help
thanx so much in advance guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

was the hatch dpfi or mpfi? if it was dpfi then you have to convert it to mpfi then get yourrself a obd0 to obd1 harness and add a few wires, if its a mpfi car just get the jumper harness. you use your stock harness not the h22 harness, use the h22 harness for plugs

its a mpfi.i wasnt gonna mess with with a dx harness because it will just be more work.this jumper harnes youre talkin about, where can i get it.and will it plug on my ecu with no modification, cuz i still ned to wire up the vtec wires as well.but what i was askin was that i need a diagram to know what plugs from the h22 harness go where on the civic harness.

ex and si are the same thing

use your old harness and just make some plugs longer, theres only a few you need to extend.
the motors eletronics are pretty much the same, you just have to add knock, vtec, vtec pressure, and iab(butterflys), also you need you extend the alt wires just fallow them color for color
