I been searching online for a while and dont seem to get any answers.. today i went to junkyard to get the money that they owed me so they gave me credit insted.. so didnt wanted to bother to go again i just grabed one cluster for civic

the cluster seems to be from a 2001-2005 civic hybrid.. i relle liked but the problem is does it fit on a EK..my cluster is similar to this
if any of you got any knowledge how to make this thing work or seen it done please share w. us..

Those hybrid clusters look pretty cool IMO. But it will require a lot of work trying to wire up the cluster. First off, the odometer will not work since you have to have a digital VSS that come on the D17's and K20's.

IMO you will have to do a lot of work to convert the hybrid cluster harnesses into the EK cluster harness. if you take yours out i'm almost certain that you will find that the cluster harnesses are different than what are needed for the hybrid. also i see a battery meter on your hybrid cluster that will never work unless you find some way to measure your battery/voltage on it, even though from the looks of it i'm pretty sure that battery meter has something to to with the IMA battery cell. also to top it off it looks like your hybrid is an automatic hybrid civic cluster, so unless you have a automatic ek wouldn't it be pointless?

update: also noticed it's in km/h and your in mph

dont reply like that chewbakha, people are putting s2k clusters in their cars now.... which at one point in time people didnt even consider.

just get the two wiring diagrams and try it out. hell its worth a shot and if you get it to work post it.

the right vss would help also </TD></TR></TABLE>

oh if thats the case it will be very simple to repin everything. The hard part is finding/making your own diagram. I repinned a Integra Cluster to run in my civic, it was fairly simple you just have to keep track, and follow a nicely made diagram.
if u find one for this hybrid cluster know that youll probably only get the tach/speedo to work? I dont think anything thats "digital" will work since your car does not support it.

edit:: being trial member sucks
