Default Whats the 411 ON THIS WIRE? !!! PICS PICS PICS INSIDE!

Hey guys, I have 2 of the wires wired up but WHAT SIGNAL GOES THROUGH THIS ONE? Its for the CFK sensor on an obd2 car. With these kind of pictures, I know somebody can help!

The blue and white wires are signal, the black wire is the pigtail end of the outside shielding for the signal wires. on the other end only the blue and white go to the sensor, the black wire turns into woven shielding

ive tried it as a ground and theres still a CEL and the car CHOKES badly when starting up ...so I was thinking a ground signal is not correct?.. So the silver mesh wire INSIDE the black wire is just the a woven shield? nothing else?


FYI, Thanks for all the help so far CCJUSTIN..

yea, a lot of the sensors have that, o2 and such. is that the harness that has the cut in it?

its the portion that was near the alternator belt, it got cut so i wire crimped them back togther, white to white and blue to blue but i had no black to goto? so i wired it up to the ground and it started up like crap??? CLUENESS now...

you're gonna need a multi meter to test it properly
but from reading the description of the problem, this sensor shouldn't affect starting the car, its the other one, in the distributer, that controls the start

hmm, so if my blue and and white one is wired up and the black is to ground i should be ok?

yea, as far as that sensor goes, but that's not the code you have right? wasn't yours for the cyp sensor? a problem in that area makes more sense as far as the car starting poorly
