So I lost my key today and I wanna avoid going to Honda cause I heard stories about those scenarios like $400 bills. I can start the car by removing the panels under the steering wheel and with a screwdriver in that white thing but the wheel is still locked. I tried to pull the wheel as hard as I can but it still wont unlock. Is there anything else I can do

Ohhh yeah I dont wanna get it fixed professionaly cause the car is a beater that was only $500 CDN

 

Take your registration papers to honda and they will cut you new keys for $6.

I had to do this once.

 

I cant get there easily cause this is my only car and The honda dealer is 1 hour away So I need to get the wheels to turn...Any way

 

it seems like you wont get much help on this since its a security feature and pretty much they only thing holding theives back from rolling the car away.

 

I hate to say it, but I've heard of big guys just breaking it...

 

I don't know if you can with a honda but I had that happen before with my Corolla. I called the lock smith with my vin number, they cut me a key and brought it to me for $20

 

You can cut the 2 bolts that hold the ignition in place. But I recommend getting a lock smith to cut you a new key.
