My opinion, i think hcp suck ***, bought the mounts and it ripped on me 1 month later, i suggest if u just want to swap and drive around without beaten your car get the mounts. otherwise those mounts are weak.

Thats pretty odd. Ive had HCP mounts for over 5 years now, and 3-4 of those years have been turbo. I beat the car so hard im surprised it didnt fall apart at the seams.

hard to believe this, u sure they were genuine. Theres many knock offs of these mounts. **** even the first gen hcp would not break.

i think i had the first gen hcp mounts, and yes im sure. i peeled off with my ls/vtec pretty hard and my tranny mount inserts ripped like it was paper. maybe i just had a defect product or some sort but im never going back to HCP mounts again.

had my hcp mounts for 2 years, good stuff.
have the linkage, kinda weird, the bitch pin didnt fit so i used a bold and washer so my shifter vibrates a good amount after like 4-5k rpm. i guess if you can get the bitch pin to fit it wouldnt be a problem but yeha
HCP cheap and good ****

HCP uses Energy Suspension polyurethane, which is one of the best urethane companies on the market. I think either you had knockoffs, or maybe HCP didnt use Energy Suspension for their first runs.
About the linkage, i have the early adjustable stuff. Its kinda pointless, but hasnt gave me any trouble. I think their linkage has been solid for a long while now though hasnt it?

The first gen linkages were adjustable, now they are solid. I have the adjustable and the only problem I have had is adjusting it just right. I can never seem to get it spot on. Works great when swapping engines in tight places. You don't have to remove the bitch pin just unscrew it.
