Will a 91 civic d15b8 work on my 89 d16a6?

 

HF and Si distributors are interchangeable. The DX/LX (D15B2) ones are different.

 

so then is a d15b8 an hf????

 

A D15B8 is a 92-95 Civic CX motor if I'm not mistaken. A HF motor is a D15B6.

So what dizzy do you have ? Because d15b8 is obd1..Im assuming since you say 91 civic you mean D15b2 or D15b1..And they'll bolt up to your head and all but wont work with the mpfi system..

 

so then pretty much the only dizzy that will work for the d16a6 is the a6 one because its the only MPFI one?

Or the hf d15b6 dizzy..

 

DPFI obd-0 are different from the MPFI obd-0 dizzy

DPFI are d15b2 engines
MPFI are the HF and Si Models
