Most likely tack a strip of sheet metal and bondo to perfection.

Don't shave the gutters ...well, unless you plan to shave the hood and trunk too haha. IMO, the gutters flow well with the lines of the car .

i think those are there for a reason, probably to prevent water from dripping all over your head when the window is cracked? leave them alone!

The little dip at each side of your roof, deflects rain from the windows

is that edge at the roof of your car that guides the water away from the window..

If you shave the gutters, they will crack, they are suppose to flex. I've seen, and heard of bad results from molding the gutters, they will crack!

YEAH!!! you said it...eventually they're gonna crack no matter how good or strong it was put together...its going to most likely start from the back and work its ugly way over to the front or vise-versa....OEM!!...no headaches, no problems...tried it on my first EF hatch and learned my lesson...while on my EF CRX this time around is staying OEM...GOOD LUCK!...

the rain gutter runs length wise on both sides below the door handle to keep water from splashing up when you cut donuts......right

I just finished unshaving my rain gutters. I shaved them a few years ago and they crack so I made them stock again.
So don't touch them.
