Absolutely not, my bodyman painted mine without asking and you can't take the paint back off, so he says. And thanks for the help the other day.

He speaks lies.
I bought a set of 88 Doors where the trim had been painted.
I used acetone and it came off. It makes a horrible mess, and ruins whatever your using to wipe it off, but you can get it all off and have your trim plush. If you dont like the trims natural color, just get some trim paint. But acetone is your best friend for moldings, it makes em look brand new!

i think painting them usually makes the car look cheap, and when i see that moldings are painted i know the paint isn't original

what ever way u go, make sure the moldings are off when the body is painted. then paint moldings whatever u want. i took mine off then painted nice black then re installed what a nice job no regrets .!(take them off paint black then reinstall) is my opinion!

Well, if your paintin em blue red green whatever, then they look like ****.
But paintin em black with trim paint makes them look plusher then ****.
I cant stress it enough,

Do what you like, and not what everyone else likes. Me yes, but depends on your taste, theres no wrong or right.

It looks good...for a couple of months. It's inevetably going to chip. That stuff doesn't like paint.

As long as you are staying with black, I think they will look good painted.

Really? I wouldn't know, I just left mine the natural dark grey the plastic is, looks awesome, but I can imagine they'd look great as dark black, but if it's gonna flake off

Some flat black paints and primers do kinda stick to them. I'm not a paint expert, but it seems it gets absorbed.
