98 Accord swap info...
hey guys, I am a f@&king noob with Accords, I previously had a 91 CRX Si with a B18C5 Swap, and 00 Civic Si with a B20 Block, and B16Head, and now I am on to my new project, The car has the usual mods, Fujita Intake, Hayame Catback, 17in Enkei RS7's on Nitto's, Sprint Springs(2.25 @all 4), Ingalls camber kit(F&R) and the white tokico(adjustable), but I haven't touched the engine other than said mods, mainly cause it is a SOHC Auto tranny. I want more power, will a Euro R F20B swap in and not have problems with weight(I want the R engine because of the rarety of it), or will the H22A swap in. I appreciate any feed back you guys can give in my quest for Accord presitge.
Euro R came with the h22a, not f20b.
The SiR and SiR-T came with the f20b.
The JDM h22 has more power, more torque, and a plethora of parts available.
The USDM h22 has more torque, and virtually the same hp, and has a plethora of parts available.
The f20b is more expensive, is less powerful, and is harder to find parts for (not including interchangeable parts).
Screw getting the f20b because it's rare. Save money and have more power by going with the h22.
