ok i just hooked up my headunit, amp, and subs today. first problem...my JL 500/1 amp is only powering one sub. is this becuz its a 500/1 amp? do i need a 2 channel amp to power two subs?! or is my wiring off? do i need another amp? second problem...on the way home my lights started flickering and when i turn the subs up...the headlights flicker/stutter even more. when i pulled in to my parking lot, i turned my car off..when i returned to my car...my antenna is still up w/my car off, and when i go to put my keys in ignition the electrical doesn't even come up...car doesn't start. WATS WRONG WITH MY CAR?! could it be my battery dead? alternator? from the antenna still up and electrical non-functional wat seems like the problem? someone plz help

nevermind...i found the cause of the problem

 

what was the cause

 

he probably disconnected the battery to wire everything and didnt re attach it
i do it all the time.

 

hehe almost...i just disconnected it and didn't tightenn it so it fell off right when i got home

 

HEHE, I have done that as well......thought I ran out of Gas and was pissed about the fuel light not working......then realized that my dash wasn't lighting up.
