so i was pretty board today and decided to spend a whopping 2 1/2 hrs. at the junk yard and ran across these.....SIX BUX BY THE WAY....OH!!!!!!!! backet and everything. off a, i think 89-91 prelude. i'll post some more pics when i mount them to my car.

I found two matching Bosch fogs off separate cars at the yard a while ago. They were both off Hondas/Acuras (Can't exactly remember). I paid $10 for both... complete with mounts and all. Hell to take them off though, must've taken me close to an hour to pull them off... one was mounted behind a bumper that I couldn't remove, so I had to bend the bumper away from the car far enough to squeeze my hand and a socket wrench behind it. Mine are mounted, not wired yet.

BTW, is it possible to wire the fogs to the ACC 12V using a fuse, or should I go through the parking light wire? I don't have a harness, so it'll all be crimping/taping...

Ive always wondered how it would look to cut out holes in those bumpers. Post pictures of finished product.

 

what can i say, it's carbon finber and it was practicaly free. my oem hood was hella messed up

Its funny how in some states people don't have access to things such as these, when every I go to the junkyard they are always left in 88-91 prelude. I never even bother taking them out. lol

Good find, but not my cup of tea. I am thinking about getting the 04-05 Grand Prix or Bonneville amber running lights. Those would look 10x better.
